Teaching Method

Instruction in piano and harpsichord. Curriculum for piano is derived from Certificate of Merit, National Guild and American Music Scholarship Association Syllabi, American Music Scholarship Associaition and Royal Academy of Music Syllabi. Course work is a comprehensive curriculum which includes technique, performance, music theory, sight-reading, ear-training, ensemble, music history and analysis. Students participate in three studio piano recitals a year and are encouraged to enroll in the Certificate of Merit Program of the Music Teachers Association of California as they qualify.
